Cookies on this site

Last updated 19 August 2026

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Exactly one third-party service can set cookies, and it loads only if you allow it.

The one third party

The contact form is protected against automated submissions by hCaptcha, a service of Intuition Machines, Inc. When it loads, hCaptcha sets cookies and reads information from your device in order to tell a person apart from a bot.

It does not load when you open the page. It loads only after you choose “Allow” — before that, no request is made to hCaptcha at all.

If you decline

Nothing else changes: you can read every part of this site exactly as before, and no request is made to hCaptcha.

The contact form cannot be submitted, because the spam check it depends on cannot run. You can always reach me directly by e-mail at peter@lemur.legal.

What this site does not do

There is no analytics, no advertising, no social-media pixel, no cross-site tracking and no profiling. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, not from a third-party network.

When you submit the contact form, the message is delivered to my inbox through Web3Forms. That request carries only what you typed into the form, and sets no cookies.

Your choice, and how to change it

Your answer is stored in your browser under a single entry named “cookie-consent”. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and is not used to recognise you.

You can change it at any time: choose “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page and the notice returns. Clearing your browser storage for this site also clears the answer, and you will simply be asked again.
